DESCRIPTION:It is with a profound sadness that CRSPIA share the news of Dave Hernandez’s passing.   Dave was involved in many volunteer activities that involved giving to the Park system\, CRSPIA\, communities\, friends and family. Here in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park\, he was our Treasurer\, past president\, Historian of our Park and trails\, and  the Trail Maintenance Unit where he provided safety training for our trail equipment. We appreciate Dave’s commitment  and support he gave to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park  and California State Parks Foundation Park Champion Program. Dave was also served on the  CALPA\, and San Diego River Park Foundation boards. He volunteered at the Earth Discovery Institute and the San Diego Wildlife Refuge Complex. Dave was also one of the founders of SoCal Park Alliance. \nA “Celebration of Life” will be held March 29th from 1-4 pm at the Descanso Town Hall.  Address for the hall is: 24536 Viejas Grade Road\, Descanso\, CA 91916. The phone at the Hall is 619-445-9505.  If you are able to help set up or tear down please let me know.  The approximate set up time will be at 12 noon. \nIf you have any pictures of Dave\, it would be appreciated if you could send them to be a part of a video or to be displayed at the town hall.
